4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

OpenAI/ChatGPT: For AI-powered meal analysis and voice transcription (Whisper API)
Anthropic Claude: Alternative AI provider option
FatSecret API: For food nutrition data (currently disabled as of Oct 18, 2025)
OpenFoodFacts: For food nutrition and barcode data (free, open-source)
Firebase/Google Cloud: For backend services, database, and authentication

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With your consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing
Service providers: Third parties who assist in operating the App (under strict confidentiality agreements)
